The Melet Dragon Boat team, Plastics of the Caribbean, had another successful year in 2013! This year our team raised just over $8026.50, and with Melet's generous matching, we were able to give $16,053.00 to Cancer Care Manitoba! This was our 7th year racing and raising money for this great cause. Next year we will strive to raise more, so stay tuned for upcoming fundraisers!
Every year, FMG hands out awards to outstanding volunteers who volunteer their time to help with the Dragon Boat practices and races, and this year our steerer Trent won the “Peggy Delaney Best Steerer" Award! Way to go Trent! Congratulations from the Melet team!
